Powertec Workbench Leverage Gym

Sifting through all the different “home gyms” out there to find something great is reason enough for most people to not get into a home gym. However, here’s a great one for those of you who are still searching for your gym- the Powertec Workbench Leverage Gym. This machine is one of the best home gyms out there. It allows you to work until exhaustion without the need of a spotter, lets you target pretty much any muscle you want, is small, and though it’s a leverage system it’s is extremely close to feeling like a completely free weight system.

A lot of people want to be able to lift until their muscles are ripped so they can gain muscle mass. Working at low reps and heavy weight isn’t exactly the safest thing to do at home without a spotter. You run the risk of injury, and when you don’t have a spotter you always hold back a little bit mentally and thus physically. The design of the Powertec workbench multi system leverage home gym is perfect for letting you work as hard as you want while minimizing chance for injury. When doing bench press you actually start with your arms flexed and hands at your chest. Your first move is up, extending the arms and your last move is back down to the bars resting position. It’s literally impossible to drop the weight onto you chest. With squats is the same. You start in the squatting position and your first move is extending up, straightening your legs. It might take some getting used to, but their design really allows you to go all out.

Powertec fitness has designed the Powertec workbench gym to allow you to work almost everything you want. A short list includes bench press, squats, bicep cable curl, tricep press, lat pull downs, leg curl, leg extensions, and rows. You don’t get that with a traditional power rack. You can buy accessories to increase the amount of exercises you can do, like pec flies, dips, leg press, and machine curls.

The Powertech workbench multi system home gym is also small enough to fit in just about any room. The machine measures about 8 feet long by 5 feet wide. The Powertec bench swings out 90 degrees to allow for squats, so realistically you need about 8 feet by 8 feet and you’re set. Built into it is a weight stand, so you won’t need an extra stand to store the free weights.

So if you need something to “make” your home a place you can rip yourself and work like crazy, Powertec equipment will have something for you. They make absolutely fantastic products. However, don’t take just my word for it – check out all the many positive Powertec workbench leverage gym reviews online and you will see that I am not the only one giving them great reviews.
